Three Donkeys @ Festival Fnac Indétendances

the 09.août.2009

Indetendances1

Second evening of the penultimate weekend of the Festival Fnac Indétendances always up City Hall and always for the Hiboo ;) Tonight, a special on the selection of six artists of the day, they are all chosen by Three Donkeys , Culture Establishment of the City of Paris has opened a room six months ago. In my case I was very pleased with these choices, as well as the audience on the porch! A note in passing a requirement in the séection, texts in French.

Atmospheres and Portraits

Arlt ( MySpace )

Imbert Imbert ( MySpace )

A bass, poems vocabulary raw yet poetic, and indeed a heightened sense of realism Imbert Imbert make a gentleman he is good to listen to foul up the ears. And it's not phony, as evidenced by its small interludes to recall that children still work in some countries or to recall that Tibetan independence is not a closed case even if one does not . And it is not limited to this, since he showed brilliantly as rockers with their guitars, his bass has nothing to envy! Its saturated feedback by sticking to the amp ... it opens your ears! A gentleman to follow and my first favorite of the evening!

Marjolaine Babysidecar ( MySpace )

Miss Marjoram and his friend, joined en route by a guitarist, especially as a duet with original an interesting concept. A truck that can serve as a stage. Of course here, no need all that. Between jazz and folk, their take us into their world over the tracks. Take time to discover them on their MySpace until their next concert:)

Mr Moon ( MySpace )

"It will send the woods!" A bold intro of Mr. Moon, who added that the public will sit still mostly have to rise ... No outstanding useless, they kept their promise. The text is interspersed characters somewhat tortured all accompanied by a catchy music contrario! Mr Moon, who dares reference to Vincent Lagaffe-si, do not pretend you know who did sing and laugh with a history of France .. sink! - nevertheless a jovial character that encourages the audience smile and quickly understood. A public broadly encouraged to participate! And bet with, they got:) Normal you will say, with artists who like to play and do not hide. As I said Nicolas Pantalacci Mr. Moon-aka-the trick is to get on stage, play and make people laugh between 2 pieces. And we can say, though still highly critical of his performances, it succeeds brilliantly in the company of a group that works wonderfully. So for those who have not yet, this group my second favorite of the evening.
Moreover, a portrait of Nicolas could follow soon ...) His portrait is online ;)

MeLL ( MySpace )

Gone, they continued with groups that "sending the wood, and there is one to do it! MeLL, adept wordplay of all kinds including the address of his MySpace: mellturbo! Yet it would be simplistic to be limited to those few of tampering with the language of Molière, as in addition she handles his guitar with dexterity, evidenced by his solos. Small snag of the day, a jack that persist to unplug the guitar ... which led him to send an "After a solo band clapping bastards":) It occupies the entire space of the scene alone with her punk look mid-mid-Tchao Pantin and sends waltz microphones and various objects that hang on stage! His fourth album, Spaghetti Western-and yes already! it is high time to discover mister ladies! - is expected to return o the fact;)

Bams ( MySpace )

Artist clearly engaged in his texts, sometimes in rap, in slams or spoken, Bams does not mince words. A poetry policy proposed by an artist well if accompanied by four musicians, this is really hyper. Although musically it is not what most cling, she found her audience Acuna without difficulty. So much for the pictures! I complete this account into the night to tell you more about each artist) is finally completed ... A beautiful evening for which we can thank The Three Donkeys and qu'Indétendances and all those that manage Paris summer event.
